WE WILL REMAIN OPEN THROUGHOUT THE NOVEMBER LOCKDOWN
This is to confirm that we will REMAIN OPEN after Wednesday 4th Nov, continuing with our current operating procedures. This will mean our yard is open for serving, our shop areas open with use of face coverings, and our bathroom showroom and landscaping displays open by appointment.
Our opening hours will remain as 7:00am-5:00pm Mon-Fri, and 7:30am-12:00pm Sat.
As part of the construction sector, our industry is deemed as essential under the government guidance, and is requested to stay open to allow tradespeople to continue to work in construction.
This will be the case unless further restrictions are advised by the government.
The Prime Minister addressed the nation on Saturday evening to announce a four‐week lockdown in England from this Thursday 5 November until Wednesday 2 December. The new restrictions include requiring people to stay at home except for specific purposes, not mixing with other households, and the closing of certain businesses and venues.
Tradespeople can continue to work in people’s homes as long as both the worker and household members have no symptoms of coronavirus. The Work Safe Safe Work Guide can still be be used to reassure householders.
Accordingly, we will not be closing, and will remain open operating as we are now – with contactless deliveries, the vehicle queueing system for yard materials, limiting numbers on site and in shop areas, and with guided appointments in the bathroom showroom and landscaping display areas.
Please ensure you follow our safe working practice instructional signage when visiting our premises, including adhering to social distancing, and use of face-coverings where required. Please respect our staff and any instructions they may give you.
